With the help of 18 committed people, Northside held our first service on February 9, 1975. That Sunday, Northside Assembly of God gathered in Carpenter's Union Hall on Main Street in downtown Texarkana.
A year after their first service, the congregation moved into a new facility - now called Smith Hall, at our currect location. The life-giving message of the Gospel, the passion and joy of Sunday services, and the move of God's Spirit built Northside Church.
Today, the simple style of Northside is to create opportunities to connect with God and one another, to discover more about God and ourselves, and to make a difference on this journey called life.
